The Bridges We've Burned
Music to my ears...
This piece, like most of my work, was inspired by music. More specifically, one song in particular, "Arsonist", by the band Puscifer.
I view music today as most people regarded philosophers before the times of mass media or sending signals & frequencies through the air. Words of wisdom accompanied by musical notes that somehow, like most art, evoke emotions & transcend the visual. However, it isn't just about the sounds, rhythms & emotions for me, but moreover, a way of life & how to view the world. How to move about this ride called life with some sort of guidance, motivation, & peace of mind. For me, the lyrics carry a lot of weight when considering the "quality" of the music... the art.
So, I present to you, "The Bridges We've Burned" inspired by the song "The Arsonist"
